Introduction of Quora
To share and grow the world’s knowledge. To connect the people who have knowledge to the ones who need it, to bring together people with different perspectives so they can understand each other better, and to empower everyone to share their knowledge for the benefit of the rest of the world.
Problem Statement
The current state of using Quora to read and write is bad, Acting as a product manager of Quora, users do not find it interesting and exciting, it does not provoke the interest of readers, and the presentation of answers doesn’t excite users to learn or engage with the platform.
Features required in Quora to enhance CX
Text Formatting Options: Quora is a platform for writers and readers, so for writers, writing and editing options should be more diverse, like font size, style, highlighting, notes, grammar check, rewriting, and zoom-out. This can help writers provide more facts, and important information in an engaging way, and readers will take more interest in reading.
Quality Content: To allow users to give ratings to the answers and score points in terms of accuracy, relevance, originality, engagement, and conciseness.
Home Screen User Interface: At the home screen, buttons can be provided as per the user’s interests, In those buttons, filters can be provided, like language proficiency (High, medium, low), Text Length, Keyword Search, mode (standard, fluency, formal, academic, and creative
Addition of points & badges -To motivate and encourage users to answer more. Badges and points earned will be publicly displayed on the user’s profile
Underserved Needs
1. Currently, user experiencing annoying feeds or not up to their interests, it requires unnecessary navigation, and due to this important information can be missed.
2. Users face challenges in providing their information with more emphasis, as it loses the writer’s interest to share and readers lose interest in reading.
3. The absence of quality content makes users reluctant to use/absorb the information, as there are many responses or answers to each question, which creates confusion among users.

User Engagement: Adding features for writers and other users will increase engagement.
User Acquisition- An Interactive user interface will attract more new visitors who look to seek knowledge in their related field.
User Retention- Visually appealing UI and smooth navigation will retain more users.
The main goal is to enhance the user experience and increase app usage rates by introducing UI features.

1. As a user, it consumes a lot of time to ignore irrelevant cluttered data from the home screen. I want feeds as per my interest or it should be recommended to avoid unnecessary data.
2. I am a content writer, and what keeps me stuck in giving more factual information is the lack of features, if I want to present information in a more appealing and emphasizing manner it keeps readers engaged with my content and I can share statistical data along with text.
3. I am a daily user of the app, using the app whenever I have questions related to any issue but I am confused and hesitate with the responses received as it becomes difficult for me to provide clarity and trustworthiness.

1. She finds the UI less interactive and not visually appealing; also, it takes a long time to load data. Infinite scrolling with long text makes it annoying to use the app.
2. Text readability is not good as there is no zoom-in feature available, and you are not able to save or take important notes for future reference.
Solution
1. At the home screen, separate buttons can be displayed as per the user’s interest in a navigational pane, with a selection of button filter, sort, search keywords, notes taking and zoom-in/out features can be provided.
2. A read-aloud feature can be provided so users can also listen to the answers.
3. Incorporate more interactive and visually appealing instead of black/white colors, multiple UI elements, icons, images, font size, style, colors, and symbols for a cohesive and polished appearance.

Technical Requirements
- Areas of Interest Button: It will be displayed on the home screen for easy navigation and viewing of the screen. It is easier for users to customize interests as per requirements. Front-End & Design Team
- Keyword search, filter, sort, notes: Entering a keyword will show suggestions for Q&A, filter enables one to decide the level of language: proficient, average, or low. Notes will be helpful for users to note key or important things in one place. Sorting arranges the Q&A as per their last updated date.
- Answer rating: Content quality will be rated on uniqueness, accuracy, conciseness, & relevance. It assures the quality of content, rating of text features will build trust and create transparency among users
- Text Formatting Options: Font style, size, spacing, change case, line & paragraph spacing, alignment, font color, underline, heading, and title plays a crucial role for writers to make the texts more attractive and engage users with reads, it can increase average read time.
- Responsive design (Zoom-in Button): The zoom-in/out button is to read answers easily. It will enhance readability and the customer experience.
- Interactive elements, color contrast buttons, tooltips, accessible color schemes, navigation patterns, tap gestures, and breadcrumbs. Tooltips assist users in providing manual tips.
- Introduction of Points and Badge Features: Max number. of answers for each user collecting more points. More winning points will become badges. Points will be based on content quality. To motivate and encourage users to answer more. Badge and points earned will be publicly displayed on the user’s profile
